Pete grew up in Franklin and graduated from Franklin Community High School. He spent his summers as a youth hanging out and working as a lifeguard at Hillview Country Club, where his parents are still lifelong members.
An engineering graduate of Purdue University, he also has a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Indianapolis.
He founded Pro Industries shortly after graduating from Purdue and designed the first line of Pro Power Strength Training Equipment, which can be found in high school, collegiate and National Football League weight rooms.
He also worked in his family’s business, GrimmerSchmidt Compressors and later worked for ANGI Energy, a gas compressor company. Besides his partnership in Hillview Country Club, he is a property manager in Johnson County.
Jim has been part of the Hillview family even before he became a partner in 2013.
A law partner at Schafstall Admire in Franklin, Jim was past president and board member of Hillview Country Club’s board before it became privately owned. Like Pete Grimmer, Jim spent much time in his youth at Hillview Country Club.
Born and raised in Franklin, he graduated from Franklin Community High School and received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Indiana University. He then completed his law degree from Valparaiso University before being admitted to the Indiana Bar.
Jim is a Registered Mediator and has been an attorney for local government entities. He is a member of the Indianapolis, Johnson County, Indiana State and American Bar Associations
He also has served on the boards of the Johnson County Community Foundation, the Johnson County Public Library and the Johnson County Public Library Foundation. He also is Attorney for the City of Franklin Fire Merit Commission.
Max has been a certified public accountant in Franklin for more than 40 years and currently co-owns the Max S. Woodbury CPA firm.
He continues to branch out in his missionary work with the LDS Employment Resource Center. He also owns and operates two vacation rental ventures – Westgate at the Canyons in Park City, Utah, and Great Sand Bay Estate in Eagle River, Michigan.
He received his bachelor’s in certified public accounting from Ball State University and is a member of the American and Indiana Institutes of CPAs.
Cathy Lynn Watson
Cathy began working at Hillview Country Club in August 2014 as Office Manager. She previously worked in the office of Dr. Steven Weber for eight years.
Cathy grew up in Trafalgar and currently resides there. Cathy has two children – Kaylin Pickett, 25, who is a hairstylist and has a handsome grandson, Garnett Hoyt, and Derik Foley, 21, who is currently a student at University of Southern Indiana in Evansville.
In her free time, Cathy enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Cathy enjoys boating, camping, and any outdoor activity.
Director of Membership Services
Judy previously worked at the Indiana Golf Office with responsibilities that included PGA Membership, Handicapping, USGA Course Rating, Tournament Operations and Rules, Foundation Fundraising and Accounting and Office Management.
Prior to her golf career Judy wrote curriculum for the Indianapolis Star as Education Specialist for the Partnership for Young Readers, and was a second Grade teacher at Webb Elementary School in Franklin.
She is married Ed Deiwert; and they have one daughter Rebecca and two grandchildren, Lane and Ella.
Judy has been a member at Hillview since 1982, and enjoys knitting, reading, dogs, and Butler University basketball.email judy
